Cardiac Nurses

Our cardiac nurses are in charge of the care for patients with heart disease. The role also entails liaising with their families and relatives to ensure they are well informed about their condition. They can also intervene in the patient’s lifestyle to aid recovery.

Chantal Bauducel is the cardiothoracic manager on the Cardiac Ward. She manages a dynamic team of experienced cardiac nurses who pride themselves in delivering excellent cardiothoracic care. Each nurse has additional expertise, including pain management, wound care, thoracic care, infection control and pressure ulcers prevention. The team is supported by other two senior sisters and five sisters in addition to the clinical nurse specialists.

Chantal joined London Bridge Hospital in 1990 as a cardiac staff nurse and progressed throughout the years to her current role of senior nurse manager. She graduated as a nurse at St Georges’ University Hospital and prior to working at London Bridge Hospital she worked in the NHS. Chantal and her team are thoroughly committed to offering exceptional, friendly and professional care.
