Consultant in Occupational Health Medicine

Dr Tony Yardley-Jones is an accredited Specialist in Occupational Medicine. He is now Clinical Director of Kensington Occupational Health Specialists Limited, an organisation providing specialist occupational health advice to businesses in both private and public sectors. He has over 25 years experience of working with organisations in his specialist field

 

He was Lead Consultant in Occupational Medicine at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Trust London up until 2010 and prior to that Director of Occupational Health at The Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading. He is a Consulting Occupational Toxicologist at the National Poisons Information Centre (Birmingham Centre) City Hospital, Birmingham.

 

Referrals cover the spectrum from stress management, performance issues, Health Assessments with senior executives, Health Surveillance for occupational hazards to assessments regarding redeployment or rehabilitation for employees with varying medical conditions.

 

Dr Yardley-Jones has an interest in the neurophysiology of performance and behaviour and how, through such mechanisms, biological variables such as Heart Rate Variability can influence the physiological responses to stress.
