Dr Ross Hunter is a Consultant and Professor of cardiology practising at St Bartholomew's Hospital as part of the NHS and The London Bridge Hospital privately. He is the Director of Arrhythmia Research, with special interests in AF ablation, and as such is the AF lead at The Barts Heart Centre, while also attributing his time to run clinical trials, develop new technologies and evaluate new equipment at the forefront of the speciality.
Heart rhythm management, electrophysiology and the use of devices are his primary focus, together with performing catheter ablation procedures for atrial fibrillation (AF) and other cardiac arrhythmias including SVT, atrial tachycardias, ventricular tachycardia (VT) and ectopics. He performs over 200 complex ablation procedures each year for such conditions using the latest techniques and technologies. He also implants, extracts and revises pacing devices including pacemakers, ICDs, CRT, and leadless pacemakers.
