He was a junior doctor at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, involved in the investigation and management of cancer and was interested in skin cancer in its various forms.
He moved to specialise in Dermatology with a special interest in oncology of the skin. He did his specialty training at the University of Edinburgh, while based at the Royal Infirmary and came to London to commence specialist practice.
As a Specialist his interests have expanded. Besides skin cancer including melanoma and atypical naevi, current interests include inflammatory skin disease, especially as it expresses the mind-body interactions. He is particularly interested in childhood eczema. |
