Dr Craig Bailey
Craig Bailey was appointed a Consultant Anaesthetist at Guys and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in 1995. He qualified from the University of London in 1984 and trained in intensive care medicine and anaesthesia in London and Cambridge.
His clinical interests are paediatric cardiac anaesthesia, thoracic anaesthesia and orthopaedic anaesthesia. He has taught and lectured on anaesthesia nationally and internationally in Europe and the Caribbean. He has authored a book, original articles, editorials and chapters on a range of topics including the FRCA examination, adult congenital heart disease patients and paediatric analgesia.
He was Training Programme Director for the South Eastern School of Anaesthesia between 2000 and 2005 and has been a College Tutor. He became an Editor of the journal Anaesthesia in 2011 and is currently an Examiner for the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
