Dr Daniel Sado is a multiple international and national award winning Cardiology Consultant and lead for the cardiac MRI program at King's College Hospital, a leading teaching and research facility based in London. He is also the Cardiology co-lead for long COVID services in South East London and for the myocarditis clinic at Kings. His private clinics are located at London Bridge Hospital. In addition to general cardiology, Dr Sado has special interests in heart failure, heart imaging, cardiac care in patients with cancer and genetic heart disorders.
Dr Sado has received worldwide, national, and regional accolades for his research and has more than 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is often invited to deliver lectures and chair sessions at both national and international conferences.
Dr Sado is a training programme director for South Thames Cardiology trainees and sits on the UK national startegic advisory committee for cardiology education. He is also an elected member of the British Cardiac Society executive committee, the British Society of Cardiac MRI and the Royal Society of Medicine Education Committee.
In his work with patients and staff, Dr Sado values integrity, honesty, empathy, and a desire to always improve his cardiac practice and that of others. His overarching goal is to deliver the greatest possible quality of clinical treatment, research, teaching, leadership, and management in healthcare.
