Dr Muhammad Mateen
Dr Muhammad Mateen was born and raised from a family of medicine in Karachi,Pakistan.
He passed with the highest grade in the leaving Certificate in the country, he received his M.B.B.S from Dow Medical College – University of Karachi with honours in E.N.T. in 1992.
Having worked for two years in medicine he undertook a radiology residency programme from 1995 to 1999 following the footsteps of his parents as both of them are in the same field.
Subsequently he did a fellowship year in Cross-Sectional imaging in C.T / M.R.I. and Interventional Radiology in Beaumont Hospital and St. Vincents University Hospital Dublin. He was also a clinical lecturer in the University College of Dublin.
He also gained experience in paediatric radiology which is also one of his interests.
Currently he is working as Consultant Radiologist in Homerton University Hospital and is a Tutor for Royal College of Radiologist.
