Dr Narayan Karunanithy
I qualified with honours from Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Medical School in 1999. Following basic surgical and radiology training, I undertook specialist fellowship training in Interventional Radiology at Imperial College London and Musculoskeletal Radiology at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. I was appointed as Consultant Radiologist and Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in 2010.
In addition to my clinical duties, I am actively involved in Research. I am the Principal Site Investigator for two Trials and two Global Registries. My main area of Research Interest is the translational application of novel MRI techniques. I have authored a number of peer reviewed publications and book chapters. I have also given numerous invited lectures at National and International conferences.
