Dr Patrick Dubois
Dr Patrick Dubois is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Physician at King’s College Hospital in London. He studied at Oxford University before reading medicine at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospitals, graduating in 2001. He completed post-graduate training in London and was appointed a Consultant in 2012.
Dr Dubois’ major interests are Coeliac disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Nutrition. He also has extensive experience in treating patients with other gastroenterological conditions such as reflux, abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhoea and constipation and has expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
His main research interests are in Inflammatory bowel disease and Coeliac disease. He was awarded his PhD in 2011 for research into the genetic causes of Coeliac disease and Crohn’s disease. He has published many articles on Coeliac disease, including primary research, reviews and a chapter in the Oxford Textbook of Medicine.
