| Profile | Dr Phyllis Holt undertook her training at the University of Manchester, as well as Vancouver Hospital in Canada, Guy’s Hospital, London and the National Heart Hospital.
She was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and Maidstone Hospital.
Dr Holt is a lecturer at the University of London and is the author of over ninety papers in peer review journals.
Research in arrhythmias has led to an MD thesis and election to the Fellowship of both the American and European Colleges of Cardiology.
Dr Holt has taught in both Europe and the USA.
Special Interests include complex pacing plus ICD's, arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation and heart failure, these are all audited and clinical outcomes have been excellent.
Past Appointments include, Clinical Director, Pacing and Electrophysiology, at Guy’s & St Thomas’. Chairman of the Medical Staff Committee and Clinical Director of Medicine at the Maidstone Hospital.
Dr Holt has also been an advsior to the House of Commons Committee on medical devices. |
