| Profile | Dr Sharma is a Consultant Cardiologist whose clinical expertise includes the management of patients with heart failure, coronary angiography, and complex pacing (including implantation of defibrillators and biventricular pacemakers).
Dr Sharma qualified from Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Hospital in 1995 with triple honours and underwent postgraduate training in tertiary centres in London.
Dr Sharma continues to be actively involved in ground breaking clinical research and is the Principal Investigator for a randomised clinical trial on biventricular pacing at the Royal Brompton Hospital. He is also a co-investigator in research studies on arrhythmias and revascularisation strategies in patients with heart failure.
He has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 5 book chapters, and 30 abstracts. |
