Consultant Renal Physician

Dr Ravi Rajakariar graduated from Leicester Medical School in 1995 with honours. He trained in neprhrology and transplanation at Barts and the London NHS trust. He also undertook his research at the William Harvey Research Institute leading publications in many prestigious peer reviewed journals.

He is a consultant in renal medicine at Barts and the London NHS Trust. Dr Rajakariar's medical practice has particular interest in Chronic Kidney disease, Diabetic Renal disease, Glomerular disease [eg Lupus], Haemodialysis and Kidney Transplantation.

Dr Ravi also has an active interest in the training of junior doctors and is involved with clinical governance [Infection control] and teaching both trainee doctors and medical students.
