Ms Rina Harris (nee Bimbashi)
Rina Harris (nee Bimbashi) completed her training at University College London (UCL) in 2003 with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry. Since graduating she has worked in both NHS and private practice where her work primarily been in Biomechanics and Gait Analysis.
Rina has experience in treating many musculoskeletal problems and overuse injuries. She is well researched in all areas of orthotic therapy and footwear prescription from running shoes to every-day footwear. She has a special interest in treating athletes and assessing running technique and running footwear using video gait analysis. Rina is able to advise patients on appropriate running shoe models, running technique, injury prevention and post injury running programs.
She has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics at Staffordshire University. Rina has been regularly featured in the national media as an expert in biomechanical assessments and the use of insoles and orthotics. She has regularly been interviewed for the Daily Mail, for articles assessing the effectiveness of insoles, how your gait and biomechanics affect the whole body and the effects of pregnancy upon gait.
