Mr Mark Ho-Asjoe is currently a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and has worked in the private sector since 2003. He has a special interest in microsurgical breast reconstruction, aesthetic surgery and lower limb trauma.
He began his basic surgical training in the UK and later, after a period spent in research, he began his specialist surgical training, which included a fellowship in aesthetic surgery at The Wellington Hospital in London. Whilst training, Mr Ho-Asjoe furthered his expertise and worked in other plastic surgery centres outside the United Kingdom including Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan (one of the leading microsurgical reconstructive centres in the world), as well as a period working as an Honorary Lecturer in Plastic Surgery at The Queen Mary University Hospital in Hong Kong.
He is a full member of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAPRAS), and British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and is on the Specialist Registrar for Plastic Surgery of the General Medical Council. Additionally, over the years he has contributed to a number of press articles on the subject of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
