Mrs Geh qualified in 1992 from the University of Nottingham Medical School. After house jobs in Obstetrics and gynaecology and chest medicine, she trained as SHO in Accident and Emergency, Urology, pediatric surgery, Orthopaedics, Endocrine, Vascular and Breast surgery and a year in Burns and Plastics, before embarking on an award as a Clinical Wellcome Fellow in Genetics and Embryology at University College, London. This Masters in Surgical Science degree was awarded as a first Class honours with Professor's Prize for research in the genetics of limb development. She successfully attained a place on the London Pan Thames Specialist Plastic Surgery training programme from 2000 to 2006. During that time she spent a year at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick children as senior registrar and completed the BAPRAS Hand Diploma courses. She finished her training with visiting programmes to learn both Ear reconstruction and Facial Cosmetic surgery in London and Paris. She also made visits and has links with the Melanoma institute in Sydney, Australia. She started with a substantive appointment at St George's University NHS trust in Jan 2007 as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Skin Oncology surgeon. Then moved to Guy's, King's and St Thomas' NHS trusts as a substantive consultant in Jan 2009. This role was a joint appointment into the department of St John's Dermatology at the trust. She has been lead Skin surgeon and teaches medical students in both an undergraduate (King's College London) and postgraduate (Chair of Pan Thames Plastics Training committee 2012) capacity. She supervises elective international students. She is a member of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons(BAPRAS) and past Chair of Education (2011-12), British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons(BAAPS), Melanoma Focus UK, European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer(EORTC), Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials group (MASC-previously ANZMTG) and National Institute for health research(NIHR), and is a fully registered GMC member (3618381). Clinical interests are melanoma and all aspects of skin cancer surgery and surveillance, reconstruction, lumps and bumps, sentinel node biopsy (head and neck and axillae and groin/pelvis), block dissections of the groin, pelvis (minimally invasive) and axilla and cosmetic(breast reduction, breast lift, implants, vaginal asymmetry, liposuction, facelifts, pinnaplasty and tummy tucks) and general plastics trauma and wounds. She also has an interest in artifical dermal replacements and laser surgery.
