Professor Christopher Edwards
Dr Edwards is a Consultant Physician and Senior Lecturer at Southampton University Hospital where he runs the Southampton Lupus Clinic. Dr Edwards trained under Professor Hughes at St Thomas' Hospital, and at the Hammersmith Hospital and the Kennedy Institute in London. He also spent a year treating lupus patients at the Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore.
Dr Edwards' particular research interests are the effects of the environment on lupus and new biologic therapies for the treatment of lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.
