| Profile | Jonathan Barker is Professor of Clinical Dermatology at St John's Institute of Dermatology based at Guys and St Thomas's Hospitals. He trained in London and USA and has been a consultant since 1991. He sits on a number of national and international boards including the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and International Psoriasis Council (IPC). He has been involved in clinical guideline development for psoriasis in the UK, a subject on which he has published widely including authorship of two books. At Guy's Hospital he runs a busy tertiary referral service for patients with psoriasis. His clinical interests are general dermatology, adult medical dermatology including psoriasis and skin cancer diagnosis. |
