Patient Feedback Summary25 March 2009
The HCA patient feedback survey measures the barometer of patient opinion in a number of key areas, with particular emphasis on care and communication.
The results compare favourably with similar private hospitals in the London area and with the NHS national patient survey.
London Bridge Hospital is proud of their patient care and work hard to make each patients time with the hospital as pleasant as possible.
The patient’s survey is an important indicator of how well the hospital achieves this and monitor the results.

The London Bridge Hospital has been designated ‘Hospitality Assured’ for its high standard of hotel services following exhaustive inspections and monitoring by the Institute of Hospitality. London Bridge Hospital catering and hotel services functions were evaluated on ten different standards ranging from standards of performance to training and development.

The London Bridge Urology department are pleased to announce the launch of Brachytherapy in March 2009 (A popular alternative to surgery and radiotherapy for patients with early, localised, prostate cancer)
What is Prostate Brachytherapy?
Brachytherapy is radiation treatment that is given inside the patient, as close to the cancer as possible. The radiation is delivered inside the body with radioactive isotopes (chemical elements), inside delivery devices such as wires, seeds, or rods. These devices are called implants. The radiation dose is concentrated on the cancer cells and less damage is done to the normal cells near the cancerous growth.
Medical Admissions Service now available13 March 2009
The Medical Admissions Service is a new service that is being offered here at London Bridge Hospital.
It is an instant, expert referral system for patients who require an urgent, general medical consultant opinion.
The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with access to six consulting physicians who will be working on an on call basis. In urgent cases, patients will be admitted immediately, following assesment. A private ambulance is available for transport to the hospital and the service also offers self-pay packages for non-insured patients.
