Housekeeping department awarded British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSs) accredited training organisation

30 September 2015

Our housekeeping department has been awarded an accreditation to become a British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSs) Accredited Training Organisation. This means we can now deliver our own accredited and certified training to the Housekeeping team!

BICSc are the largest independent, professional and educational body within the cleaning industry, with over 10,000 individual and corporate members in the UK and Internationally. BICSc Standards combine intelligence from a number of highly regarded cleaning industry experts.

Janet Perry, Housekeeping Manager at London Bridge Hospital, is delighted with the news and told us “our staff has an exceptional level of both knowledge and experience and it is because of this level of expertise in delivery that our patients know that we do not just offer excellent private healthcare but we also operate in a clean and safe environment in the hospital.”

We are also proud to announce that in our most recent patient satisfaction survey, 99.4% of patients rated the cleanliness of their room as 'good or better', with 99.8% rating the overall cleanliness in the hospital as 'good or better”. See  our survey results here.

Well done to our Housekeeping Team!
