London Bridge Hospital receives the Investors in People Gold Awards16 September 2014
London Bridge Hospital is delighted to have been accredited with the Investors in People Gold Award, in September 2014.
Being accredited with this award at a time of constant challenge is a big achievement and it is a clear reflection of the importance that all staff members place on learning and development and its contribution to our patients.
The Investors in People Award is based on a series of 39 must-haves that organisations measure up against, to find and realise the potential of their people. The Award also recognised the hospital’s commitment to developing all members of staff which shows our ambition, drive and focus to the rest of the world, with day-to-day commitment and dedication of our people.
John Reay, CEO at London Bridge Hospital was thrilled with the good news and said “London Bridge Hospital has changed significantly since our first IIP accreditation 15 years ago. At the heart of that change are our people who put our patients first, as they deliver world class care each and every day. My current Senior Management Team have been in place for less than two years and have focused intensely on developing and promoting our people. I am delighted that IIP have recognised our progress and I would like to personally thank all our Managers and Supervisors for their continued hardwork and commitment“.
We will soon be uploading more details on the report. If you have a comment or would like to share your experience with us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and you can be featured on the patient stories section on our website.
