London Bridge Hospital receives top hygiene rating from Environmental Health Officer
The London Bridge Hospital catering department has received a top rating for hygiene, following a recent inspection by the Environmental Health Officer.
During a routine inspection, a food safety officer inspected London Bridge Hospital to see how hygienically food is handled, how it is prepared, cooked, re-heated, cooled and stored. They also inspected the condition, structure and cleanliness of the building. Following the inspection, London Bridge Hospital was awarded a top rating of '5' which means that the hospital was found to have 'very good' hygiene standards.
Paul Tuley, Catering Manager at London Bridge Hospital said: "It is a fantastic achievement for our catering team to receive a 5 star food safety rating from the Environmental Health Office.
