London Bridge Hospital to host first ever Twitter ‘Q&A’

London Bridge Hospital is to host it's first ever Twitter 'Q&A,' giving you the chance to ask questions, or for hints and tips from a specialist.

The Q&A session will be focusing on the hospital's new antenatal and postnatal service, FitBack & Bumps, with physiotherapist Emma Brockwell answering tweets on a variety of topics including how to exercise safely during pregnancy, how to reduce back and pelvic pain during pregnancy, and how to strengthen abdominal and pelvic floor muscles following the birth. Anyone wishing to take part in the Q&A, is asked to tweet their questions to @LondnBridgeHosp between 1-2pm on Tuesday 2nd September. If they would prefer, they can also send a direct message, which will be answered accordingly.

Discussing London Bridge Hospital's first ever social media Q&A, Amy Drewery, acting head of GP Liaison and Marketing said: 'We are really pleased to have such a strong following on social media, not only is it a great way to hear about the experiences of our patients, but it really helps us highlight the services we provide to a much bigger audience. The new Twitter Q&A sessions will not only give patients an idea of what they can come to expect from a visit to London Bridge Hospital, but it will also help them find out more about the Consultant or Specialist involved in their treatment.'
