As part of our commitment to provide the best facilities for our patients, we have been carrying out an extensive refurbishment programme to the hospital. To date we have built two new operating theatres, and have refurbished our bedrooms and bathrooms.
We are now proceeding with our innovative project in the atrium in the main hospital; this project will provide the hospital with an additional ten bedded state of the art critical care unit and in-patient bedrooms.
During your stay you may encounter some disturbance from this work. The contractors will endeavour to keep noise levels as low as possible and any necessary noisy building work will be carried out at pre-arranged times. We will try to keep any disturbance to a minimum however if this does become a problem please notify a member of staff who will speak to our engineers to get any noise reduced.
If you have any concerns or queries on any of the above during your stay please do not hesitate to call the help line on ext 42444 (whilst at the hospital). The member of staff on the helpline will take your details and notify the Estates Manager who will liaise with the contractors and nursing management to reduce the noise or stop it altogether. Please accept our sincere apologies in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused during your stay at London Bridge Hospital.
