I would just like to thank all the staff that looked after me during my recent stay at London Bridge hospital. I've never had surgery before and thanks to all the excellent nursing staff in the orthopaedic team, in particular Ana, Samantha, Julianna and Katrina, my experience was made so much easier. They are a warm, friendly, kind and understanding, but very professional team and nothing is too much trouble day or night. I felt I couldn't have been more well cared for and was so impressed - and grateful really - that I just wanted to thank everyone.
As well as the nursing care which I have said already was really first class, from the moment I walked in the building I was really impressed by everyone I encountered, including the porter, the cleaners, the catering staff - (they were polite and so friendly), the admin lady that came to see me and special thanks to the pharmacist too - he was so helpful and came to see me quite a few times to sort out my numerous medications and get me onto a better drug regime. I have to mention the anaesthetist Mr Tricklebank - I was really anxious before my surgery and his friendly approach helped me to relax before my operation.
Last but not least my amazing consultant Mr Chitnavis - a very kind, understanding man who I wholeheartedly thanked for 'giving me my life back' after my lumber discectomy. I really am so grateful to him. Very many thanks to all at London Bridge Hospital
