Moles- The Good, The Bad and the Ugly 

A practical approach to patients concerned about moles. Discussion on how to distinguish benign from malignant moles, this will include a short quiz on pigmented lesions.

This will be an interactive session where we will discuss the differential diagnosis and initial management of the patient with a red face.

Skin Cancer - Mole Scanning Machines, Worth the Hype?

This talk will be based on 'New diagnoses of malignant melanoma'. Early detection and treatment is strongly associated with a favourable prognosis. What is digital dermatoscopy and how does it work?

Special interests include moles, skin cancer and skin infections. She has a keen interest in medical education.

Senior Lecturer at Bart's and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Particular interest in Medical Education.

Dr Alastair Barkley, Consultant Dermatologist (Queen Elizabeth and London Bridge Hospitals)

Clinical lead for skin cancer and surgery, his particular interest is in rapid screening and diagnosis for melanoma and skin malignancies.
