Venue: London Bridge Hospital, St Olaf House, The Board Room
Time: 12pm - 4pm
Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the commonest cardiac arrhythmia. Who should have warfarin? Who should be cardioverted? Is there a cure? Who should get what treatment? These questions will be answered for you at our seminar.
A consequence of the ongoing debate surrounding the contemporary treatment of AF is that many non specialists are now confused and uncertain how to best manage their AF patients. This seminar hopes to clarify AF management for GP’s by reviewing these controversies and offering simple guidelines. In addition, a live AF ablation case will be performed. We hope this will demystify the procedure and demonstrate that, for appropriate patients, it is a safe and effective way of treating this common condition.
