Central Stress Management provides comprehensive range of psychological and psychiatric care on an outpatient basis from Emblem House at London Bridge Hospital, including a liaison psychiatry service to the general medical and surgical in-patient units within the hospital.

With a team of five psychiatrists, we possess expertise in general adult psychiatry, old age psychiatry, liaison psychiatry, sexual and marital work and other areas including work with an integrated team of therapists of varied backgrounds, including focused cognitive behavioural work, long term psycho-dynamic psychotherapy and stress management counselling. By combining relevent areas of specialism, we are able to successfully address the needs of most patients.

There is consultant psychiatric presence in the hospital every week day and telephone advice is available out of hours at weekends. In addition one of our more experienced therapists is available for face to face discussions on Saturdays.

Central Stress Management is also involved in an induction course of the new staff at the hospital and provides continuing professional development sessions for local GP's and occupational health practices.
