The London Bridge Hospital currently operates using five major operating theatres; all theatres are modern and well equipped with the latest surgical technology.
As part of HCA's refurbishment plans, the hospital is attaining another two state of the art theatres over the next two years, increasing our number of theatres from five to seven.
Work has already commenced on creating and designing this new area. This major development will enable us to undertake even more procedures with the latest technology and facilities.
Our Sterilising and Decontamination Department (CDU) have recently been assessed and certified as successfully meeting the requirements for decontamination of medical and surgical instruments in accordance with the requirements of:
ISO 9001:2000
ISO 13485:2003
and
Directive 93/42/EEC
Annex V (sterility aspects)
