London Bridge Hospital is proud to

be part of the award-winning HCA

International Group, winners of the

prestigious 2012 Laing & Buisson,

‘Laing’s Healthcare 20’ Award – the

second major award for HCA in

four months.

This latest award was presented

to HCA for exhibiting “excellent

performance over the past year” and,

according to the organisers,“perhaps

most importantly of all, influence in

shaping UK healthcare.”

HCA beat stiff competition from

45 of the country’s largest private

healthcare and service providers to

win the coveted award.

Michael Neeb, President and Chief

Executive Officer of HCA International

received the Award from Laing

& Buisson Director,William Laing.

Mr Neeb noted that this most

prestigious accolade reflects the

group’s pursuit of the highest standards

of patient care, and the continuing

dedication of Consultants, nurses,

specialist medical and support staff

in all of HCA’s hospitals, clinics,

diagnostic and outpatient centres.

“To win this particular award is a great

honour, proof that investing long-term

in our hospitals, the latest diagnostic

and treatment technology, staff training

and quality management results in

better outcomes for patients, and

higher overall standards,” said Mr Neeb.

“Everything we do is focused on trying

to provide the best possible care for

every patient, improving standards daily.

date facilities. For example, in the past

three years alone, we have re-invested

every pound of our profits in new

equipment – over £150 million.

Imperial College London Professor of

Health Policy, Nick Bosanquet, praised
