Increased demand from referrers sees London Bridge

Hospital GP Liaison Team extend opening hours.

At London Bridge Hospital, it is our

goal to make it as easy as possible to

access the services we offer, whether

it is for patients, Consultants or GPs.

Due to increasing demand, the GP

Liaison Department has recently

extended its opening hours now

from 8.00am-6.00pm.

The GP Liaison Department

liaises with GPs, Consultants, their

secretaries and patients to provide

appointments at London Bridge

Hospital and its Outpatient and

Diagnostic Centres. The service

provides GPs with rapid access

to appointments with our leading

specialists with just one phone call.

London Bridge Hospital’s Marketing

and GP Liaison Manager, Manuela

Bernhard, said,“The GP Liaison

Department is always looking for ways

to make it easier for GPs to refer

patients – from the recent launch of

our mobile application through to

our decision to extend our opening

hours.We hope that these new

developments will make our services

even more accessible for GPs.”

London Bridge Hospital has recently

re-launched its website following

feedback from our Consultants, GPs

and patients. The new site, which

went live in October, has undergone

a number of improvements to the

look of the website, as well as its

navigation and layout.

The new website has dedicated

sections with information for patients,

Consultants and health professionals,

with a wealth of information about

London Bridge Hospital and the

state-of-the-art services we offer.

One of the new features of the

website is an interactive media

centre, which offers virtual tours

of our facilities, interviews with our

leading Consultants, and the latest

blog posts.
