Dr Jeremy Sanderson MD FRCP runs a Gastroenterology clinic at 31 Old Broad
Street onTuesday evenings.
Dr Jeremy Sanderson is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals
where he was appointed in 1995. He is also Senior Clinical Research Fellow in the
Department of Nutrition at King’s College London. He qualified at Charing Cross Hospital,
London in 1984 and undertook his postgraduate training in London and Australia.
He has extensive experience and expertise in the management of upper and lower GI tract
disease and in gastrointestinal endoscopy. His specialist expertise is in the management of
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), especially Crohn’s disease, the irritable bowel syndrome
and he has particular expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy. He is a recognised
opinion leader in the field of IBD and has published extensively in this area.
